MISSION RESIDENCE
The Mission Residence, located in San Francisco’s historic Mission District, is a stunning example of how modern design and functionality can be integrated into a 19th-century Victorian home. The team undertook a complete structural renovation while preserving the home’s historical charm.
The design focused on creating an open and bright living space, removing walls, and adding large skylights and walkable glass floors to flood the home with natural light. Key modern elements, such as a sleek custom fireplace, a third-floor roof deck, and metal-framed glass doors, blend harmoniously with restored original features, including replicated moldings and marble accents.
The renovation also introduced custom millwork and a new lighting system, elevating form and function. The added third-story provides a private retreat with a rooftop deck, offering views of the bustling city below.
The Mission Residence now stands as a perfect fusion of historic elegance and contemporary living, providing a timeless, light-filled sanctuary within the heart of the city.
